For a good mood.
Since 1947.
In 1947, we retrieved our instruments from the attic and thus revived brass music in Donaustadt.
Just like our founding members, we, too, acknowledge our responsibility for keeping the brass music scene vibrant in Vienna today. With St. George by our side, we strive daily to ensure its continuous growth by exploring new approaches to attracting new members and audiences.
Our mission is to provide a haven of home to all of our members (whether they play an instrument or not) as well as a good time for our audience.

Big orchestra
At the heart of our brass band is the large orchestra. Covering a wide repertoire from classical brass music or pop medleys to symphonic sounds, it caters to all tastes.

Seniors
For lifelong music lovers – our senior orchestra! Rich in life experience, the hearts of these members beat to the music as they bring melodies to life and create a sense of togetherness.

Marketenders
Our “Marketenders” are more than just providers – they are the splash of color enlivening our community! With their cheerfulness and hospitality, they ensure a jolly atmosphere and add creative input to our team.

Helpers
Our helping hands in the background are the backbone of the brass band! Whether setting up, organizing or supporting events – they are always there to ensure that the goings-on behind the scenes of our music performances run smoothly.
